DAY 1
DESCRIBE YOUR DAY
I woke up and washed up at 8:30am and started my day by drinking a cup of coffee while scrolling through social media, mainly Instagram. I also spent some time texting my girlfriend on WhatsApp. Afterwards, I worked out while listening to a podcast on Spotify. Then, I started working on my assignments at around 11am and took a break at 12:30pm for lunch. After eating lunch, I washed my dishes while watching YouTube on my phone. My phone was propped up on the side near the washing basin. I continued work at 2pm and stopped at 6pm. 6pm was my relaxation time where I played some games and scrolled through Instagram on my phone. I also watched TV. Then, I had dinner with my family at home and washed the dishes afterwards while watching YouTube on my phone. Since I had a lot to work on, I started work again at 8pm and stopped at around 10:30pm, because I got tired. I spent 2 hours watching YouTube on my laptop and played games on my phone. At the end, I went to sleep at 12:30am.

My day was like an “eBay” app, because I kept figuring out how to complete all my assignments.
DAY 2
DESCRIBE YOUR DAY
Today was an exciting day! I woke up 8:30am, washed up and had my usual cup of coffee. I also spent some day scrolling through Instagram. I then took a shower and drove to pick up my girlfriend. During the trip to my girlfriend’s location, I was listening to a podcast on Spotify. When we came back to my place, we had lunch and baked a cheesecake together. Afterwards, I went to work on my assignments while she watched TV. At 4pm, we went out to our friend’s place for a potluck gathering! We spent around 5 hours there having potluck and played games. We left our friend’s place at around 9pm, came home, showered, watched a movie and then slept at 1am.

My day was like a “Heads Up!” app (game app), because I had a lot of fun with my friends!
DAY 3
DESCRIBE YOUR DAY
I woke up 9am and washed up. My girlfriend and I made dalgona coffee together and finally ate the cheesecake we baked yesterday for breakfast! We then worked out together by following some workout routine videos on YouTube. Afterwards, we took a rest by watching TV, showered, and had lunch. Afterwards, I was working on coding on my laptop, while she was watching Netflix, and this lasted until 6pm. We had dinner together and then I continued working again while she continued watching Netflix. I sent her home at 9:30pm. When I came back home, I played some games on my phone and then slept at 12:30pm.

ABOUT DIARY WRITER
Daniel comes across as an active and carefree individual of the younger Gen Y segment who is open to new experiences and building a community of friends. He has strong emotional attachments to some food and places in Malaysia and experiences he has with his close friends and family. Since he is on holiday, he has more time to relax with friends and family and that is what he did! Although he did not forget his responsibilities by attending to his assignments.

COMPARTMENTALIZED FRIENDSHIP WITH SAMSUNG
He uses his Samsung more for enabling communications with the girlfriend, friends, and family (but prefer in-person interaction) and entertains himself with some game and video streaming (YouTube) apps often, in between schoolwork or during his resting times. He seems to be very productive and uses his phone a lot for self-motivation and education.
